Welcoming New Mural Addition to Chico Office

It is a pleasure to announce the addition of our brand-new front desk mural! This collaborative masterpiece created by foster kids, staff, and hopefully many others will catch your eye the moment you step foot into our Chico office. The different colored handprints on the piece are there to represent our message that this is a friendly and inviting environment, accepting of every individual. We want to harp on the fact that everyone is welcome here at Sierra Nevada Connections, regardless of gender, sexual identity, or any other differentiating factors.

The addition of this piece follows its predecessor, a wonderful mural pained by a foster child in our playroom which was highlighted in our June newsletter. These inclusions to our playroom and front desk strive to make the office a more friendly and inviting environment. We understand visitations can have a unique aspect, therefore, creating thoughtful and expressive pieces on the walls and desk provoke a positive attitude!

It has been a great experience not only for the staff to get involved in a project somewhat different than their usual tasks but for the community of SNC to be able to leave their mark on our walls.
Are YOU part of the SNC family and want to leave a handprint on our new mural?
If you want to be a part of our brand-new front desk mural, just ask a staff member!
